Maiolica technique on white bisque. This plate is based on classic 16th century Italian designs from Montelupo Italy. This motif is called folded ribbon. The motif is called "Nastri" in Italian. This is my fourth piece based on this design. This piece is a larger size than the previous versions. D. 11.75 inches. |
