Painted Ceramics - Bowls

Ovalo large bowlI do a variety of bowls in 15th and 16th century styles.  These bowls are functional as well as decorative.

The large, deep serving bowl on the left is an original design. It was awarded Best of Show in the Professional Division at the Southwest Ceramics Show. The rim is banded in a graduation of color and decorated with an outlined decorative pattern. The blue band is a vinework design done in a sgrafitto technique.

Shallow Bowls

These shallow bowls can be displayed on the wall in a standard plate rack, but they are still functional serving pieces for special occasions.
